The ESL Curriculum Committee is a year-long curriculum project designed to build teacher leadership capacity while adapting and enhancing curriculum and resources for our ESL program. Committee members will work collaboratively to align already identified curriculum and priority texts to WIDA standards across content areas, with consideration to key language uses, language expectations, and instructional routines. This is an opportunity for experienced and emerging ESL educators to deepen their expertise in ESL curriculum and WIDA standards alignment PROGRAM STRUCTURE Timeline: November 2025 - July 2026 (9 months) Time Commitment: 60 - 80 hours total 20 - 30 hours of collaborative meetings (with possibilities of meeting after school in person and/or virtual, up to two days over February and April break, and up to 3 days at the end of the school year- the team will schedule collectively) 40 - 50 hours independent curriculum work
