About The Position

1.Meet all Indiana and Federal EL compliance requirements 2. Manage/Support building leader with all assessments related to EL compliance 3. Support EL Leads with TOR management and EL advocacy 4. Document student data and information including assessment scores, evidence of progress, and mandatory communications with families related to EL 5. Provide instructional supports to identified EL students as determined by WIDA Access (Push-in, Pull-out, Co-teaching, Teacher Collaborative Support) 6. Build relationships with teachers and leaders to enhance English language instruction in the classrooms 7. Meet with the classroom teachers to impact instructional decisions to better meet the needs of English language learners 8. Attend grade level PLCs to provide EL focused support as assigned 9. Stay current on EL related research and best practices 10. Provide as needed EL professional development to teachers and building leaders as assigned 11. Attend required EL related PD as assigned (WIDA, SIOP, other) 12. Provide opportunities for EL family engagement as determined by the building leader 13. Provide EL student and family advocacy within the school and district community 14. Support all other duties as assigned
