Provide districts with professional development and technical assistance on bilingual and ESL program implementation, aligned with state and federal requirements and current research. Collaborate with the Early Childhood Consultant to support the implementation of Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Provide technical assistance to districts in meeting identified STAAR objectives for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Coordinate with other ESC staff in the delivery of services to campuses in need of improvement. Provide professional development and technical assistance to districts to support implementation of TItle III program activities. Collaborate and provide training alongside core content consultants for teachers of EB students. Conduct training and provide ongoing support for the implementation of the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS). Assist districts with the recruitment, training, and retention of teachers holding bilingual and ESL certifications. Provide technical assistance to support districts with the identification and placement processes for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Deliver professional development and technical assistance on the Spanish Language Arts and Reading (SLAR) Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and related curriculum. Assist in the delivery of LPAC training for Beginning, Middle, and End-of-Year processes. Support ESC personnel with LPAC Decision-Making training. Provide technical assistance and training related to state Exceptions and Waivers processes. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Up to 226 working days This is an at-will employment position.
