About The Position
East Hanover Township School District Notice of Position Vacancy Elementary Education Teacher (Grade 1) - Anticipated Leave Replacement Requirements: Candidate must hold a New Jersey Instructional Certificate in one of the following: Elementary School Teacher (K-6) - CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher of Elementary School (K-6) - CE, CEAS, or Standard Preschool through Grade 3 (P-3) - CE, CEAS, or Standard Duties: Per the attached job description. Effective Date: March 11, 2026 - June 30, 2026 Salary: Following the established EHEA Salary Guide, which ranges from $65,078 to $108,139. Benefits: Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits. Sick, Personal, and Bereavement Days are included. A certificated staff member hired by the District as a Long Term Leave Replacement for 90 or more consecutive calendar days will be provided the opportunity to enroll in health benefits (medical, prescription, dental). These benefits will be for single coverage only and are restricted to the New Jersey Educators or Garden State Health Plans. An employee may elect not to participate in District benefits; however, there will be no paid waiver option available for Long Term Leave Replacement employees. FMLA/NJFLA is provided for eligible staff members.
