About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Title Teacher to join our team and support students who require additional academic assistance. The Title Teacher will work primarily with students who are at risk of falling behind in their academic studies and provide targeted instruction to help them improve their skills in reading, math and language arts. This position is designed to support the overall educational experience of students in alignment with state and federal guidelines for Title I programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education.
  • Valid Montana K-8 teaching certification.
  • Experience working with students in Title I programs or in a classroom setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal education standards and Title I regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to work effectively with students, staff and parents.
  • Patience, adaptability, empathy and a passion for helping students succeed academically.
  • Ability to develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement targeted instructional strategies to meet the needs of students who require additional support, focusing on reading, math and other core subjects.
  • Assist classroom teachers with testing and help coordinate testing schedules, assist with progress monitoring and use of data in decision making.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff and school leadership to identify students who need support and ensure alignment between Title I services and the general education curriculum.
  • Regularly assess students' progress using a variety of assessments (formal and informal) and adjust instructional methods as needed to meet their academic goals.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to inform them about their child’s progress, provide resources for continued support at home, and engage them in the educational process.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress, interventions, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements for Title I programs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with instructional strategies, educational technologies, and Title I regulations.
