About The Position
Alden Elementary School is seeking a highly qualified certified elementary classroom teacher for a leave of absence starting on or about March 16, 2026 with the end date to be determined. Alden School is a grades 3, 4, 5 school comprised of 650 students and 115 dedicated staff members Our school community believes in the values Responsibility, Empathy, Self-esteem, Courage, Patience, Effort and Teamwork. Requirements
- Current certification from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Classroom management skills that support students social emotional learning
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
