About The Position

We announce the following SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHING vacancy in Rochester Community Schools for the 2025-26 school year. Applications will be taken until filled. Elementary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) TEACHER DISTRICTWIDE FULL TIME QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold valid Michigan Teaching Certificate Must be certified in Autism Spectrum Disorder - SV Experience working with Austim Spectrum Disorder, preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. SALARY: Per Rochester Education Association Master Agreement JOB GOAL: To devise and implement individualized programs for students who have special needs which prevent them from learning through traditional means.

• Must be certified in Autism Spectrum Disorder - SV

Responsibilities

• Comply with timelines, laws and regulations that relate to district, state, federal policies and procedures.
• Monitor and document student progress on IEP goals.
• Collaborate with all service providers, and other staff to develop instruction and support goals that are designed to meet the learning needs of students.
• Compile and submit monthly Medicaid reports.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
• Participate in building meetings as directed by the building principal.
• Performs other duties as requested by the Assistant Superintendent or Building Principal.
