Assistant to Elementary Principal: Who oversees M/W Elementary Division (curriculum, teachers, students, discipline, academics, etc) Elementary Admin Assistant Job Responsibilities: Conserves time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries Monitors schedules, anticipating guests and helping control the flow of visitors to the office Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential Organizes and completes assignments based on priority given Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information - specifically with budgets, admissions, Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions (Google Docs for all meetings) Maintains professional and technical knowledge Maintains Elementary Division calendar, including scheduling teacher observations and follow up meetings Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed Supports Elementary team with various administrative tasks including: making copies, organizing curricular materials, inventory, organization of materials, etc Schedules team meetings, takes notes in meetings, send tasks lists post meeting Support communication for elementary division including Cov Conn article writing and submissions Help with staff care - scheduling, correspondence, budget tracking, gifts/encouragement Assist with AVL for Chapels, Assemblies, and events that are related to elementary division Assist with standardized testing organization/implementation - sorting test booklets, packing tests, communicating schedules, etc (in conjunction with lead testing coordinator) Other duties as assigned
