About The Position
Lueders-Avoca ISD is seeking qualified, energetic applicants for our elementary/junior high school Special Education opening for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Be prepared to teach small numbers in classes with an enormous opportunity for intrinsic rewards and become a valued member of the L-A ISD Family. We serve approximately 115 students in eastern Jones and northwestern Shackelford counties. One advantage we offer is a very small student/teacher ratio. Our size makes it necessary for staff to wear many hats, however, the opportunity to be a part of student success makes the rewards worth the efforts. Expectations include a focus on the implementation of sound teaching practices and a great work ethic to prepare students for academic and lifetime of successes.
