Shift: Saturday to Wednesday 7:00am to 4:00pm Essential Functions: Monitors electroplating process of burs to ensure a consistent and continuous flow. Prepares and assembles blanks for plating. Prepares chemical baths and tanks. Prepares and sets up plating fixtures onto machines to maintain assembly line. Oversees parts as they progress through electroplating line to ensure specifications and requirements are being met. Preps parts for packaging by running parts through cleaning and rinsing baths. Maintains overall cleanliness of the plating lab to the desired level. Completes maintenance on plating tanks including but not limited to sensors, change out of tank valves and filters, and dumping, cleaning, and preparation of process baths. Studies and understands the production schedule and requirements to allow for completion of orders in an efficient and timely manner. Reports errors or discrepancies to management. Assists with prototyping and building of parts on an as-needed basis. Maintains accurate and up to date documentation related to electroplating line. Attends and participates in required apprenticeship training. Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at the management direction. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, preferred. Minimum one (1) year of related experience required. Previous experience working with chemicals in laboratory setting, preferred. Ability to convey complex technical concepts in concise written form. Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and applicable technical information. Ability to frequently push, lift, carry and/or pull up to thirty (30) pounds Pay range: $18.15-$23.00/hr Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
