About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Plating / Electroplating Technician to join an aerospace team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cadmium plating and anodizing processes, as well as proficiency in masking techniques. As a Plating Technician, you will work closely with the plating line manager to ensure the proper maintenance of plating equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and high-quality results in all plating operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in plating and masking techniques is essential.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of anodizing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cadmium plating and anodizing as required for aerospace components.
• Collaborate with the plating line manager to maintain tank levels, monitor chemistry, and ensure the upkeep of the plating shop.
• Conduct tank disposals in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Execute masking procedures as necessary to protect designated areas from plating processes.
• Complete all pre and post-plating and anodizing processes with precision and attention to detail.
