About The Position

Position Overview: Provides procedural assistance to physicians in the electrophysiology (EP) area by monitoring, scrubbing and circulating. Works directly with the physicians in the EP lab to assess, analyze and treat arrhythmias via EP study, ablation, and implantable devices. Assists with maintaining equipment and supply levels. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. In addition, will function in the Cardiac Cath lab and special procedures as needed.

Requirements

Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school for Radiology Technology.
One (1) year Cath Lab experience in either a monitoring and/or scrubbing role.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT)
Current California State Fluoroscopy License
Current Basic Life Support ( BLS) Certification
Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Nice To Haves

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI)
Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Field
