About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to support advanced cardiac procedures in a high-acuity Interventional Cardiology EP Lab setting. The EP Technician will play a critical role in assisting physicians with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, ensuring precision, safety, and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited program in one of the following: Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Technology, Or equivalent education and relevant experience
  • Required Certifications (one of the following): RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), IBHRE Certification, RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • Additional Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics
  • Hands-on experience with electrophysiology lab equipment and devices

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implants
  • Operate and monitor EP lab equipment, including mapping and recording systems
  • Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring throughout procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring proper setup of EP lab equipment
  • Continuously monitor patient condition and respond to changes during procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality care
  • Accurately document procedures and patient data
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines
