About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to support cardiac electrophysiology procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EP lab equipment, strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics, and the ability to assist physicians during complex interventional procedures. Schedule & Work Environment Day shift: Monday – Friday 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) Acute care hospital setting No weekend requirement

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited program in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Technology , or equivalent experience
  • One of the following certifications (required): RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) IBHRE Certification RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics
  • Demonstrated experience working with EP lab devices and equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in high-volume EP labs
  • Familiarity with advanced cardiac mapping systems and ablation technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Operate and maintain EP lab equipment and monitoring systems
  • Monitor and record hemodynamic data during procedures
  • Prepare patients and procedure rooms in accordance with sterile protocols
  • Support device implantation procedures (pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, etc.)
  • Ensure proper functioning and troubleshooting of EP equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with procedure reporting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety
