About The Position

Deaconess Heart Group seeks a Full-Time BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist (who completed a 2-year EP Fellowship) to join a 25-physician and 20-advanced practice provider cardiology and cardiovascular surgical group employed by Deaconess Health System, both regional leaders in care and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Candidates should be proficient in advanced ablation procedures, lead extractions, and advanced arrhythmia management.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Completion of a 2-year EP Fellowship
• Proficiency in advanced ablation procedures
• Experience with lead extractions
• Expertise in advanced arrhythmia management

Responsibilities

• Call coverage is limited to the EP service line with an anticipated 1:5 weekday/weekend
• Supported by outpatient APPs in the clinic setting and inpatient APPs in the hospital setting
• Successful outreach clinics staffed by the Deaconess Heart Group office in IN, KY & IL
• Two dedicated EP labs at the Gateway & Midtown Hospitals with three additional labs for device implant
• Dedicated office-based device staff with integrated electronic remote monitoring service for CIED
• Established lead extraction program, VT ablation program, and Impella support
• High volume AF ablation program
