About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Electronic Warfare Engineer located in Berkeley, MO. This position involves leading collaboration with suppliers to develop and enhance advanced electronic warfare systems, ensuring that designs meet specifications and operational requirements. The engineer will assist in the integration of electronic warfare systems into a tactical aircraft platform, ensuring that all components function together effectively. Responsibilities include conducting assessments of electronic warfare technologies and systems, analyzing performance metrics and compliance to requirements and standards, and developing and implementing test plans and procedures to validate the functionality and effectiveness of electronic warfare systems, including both laboratory and flight testing. The engineer will also create and maintain technical documentation, identify and troubleshoot technical issues, ensure compliance with military and regulatory standards, support project management activities, and provide ongoing support throughout the lifecycle of products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in writing and/or reviewing Environmental Qualification Test Procedures and reports.
  • Experience evaluating Supplier change proposals.
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) analysis.
  • Experience with tactical aircraft programs.
