About The Position

Electronics Technician The Opportunity: Fabricate, repair, and maintain electronics systems and equipment. Create prototypes based on schematics, engineering drawings, complex manuals, and other technical documentation. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. May assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision. May provide guidance for less experienced team members.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as an electronics technician
3+ years of experience supporting electronic assembly fabrication, including wiring harnesses, electronic circuit boards, and integration of electronic components
3+ years of experience reading electronic schematics and drawing for repair and troubleshooting
Ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine the electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies
Ability to effectively work under little or no supervision
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience building multi-level circuit boards
Experience working within the United States Navy or Marine Corps maintenance framework
Knowledge of the design of electronic systems and components
Ability to work independently and coordinate with client engineers
J-STD or IPC 610 or 620 Certification
