Requirements

• High School Diploma with a minimum of five years of directly related work experience as an aviation technician per the above stated position duties with emphasis on cable harness fabrication
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical test equipment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen that possesses, or has the ability to obtain, a Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

• IPC 620 standard certification
• Knowledgeable in shop procedures and techniques
• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or related field or military technical training program or completion of technical institute program.
• Experience in compiling data related to the design, technical specifications and components materials needed for finished units, making corrections to drawings, documenting changes found during prototype assembly.
• Development of engineering change data.
• Design and fabrication prototype assemblies and design board layouts using design tools.
• Experience in using various RF measurement equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers with the ability to utilize equipment to perform testing and troubleshooting functions.
• FCC certified, RADAR optional

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced technical knowledge, gained through education and/or experience, to accomplish the work necessary to develop deliverable products from engineering documentation and drawings.
• Perform a variety of complex technical duties including the fabrication, assembly, test, troubleshooting, analysis, evaluation, modification, and operation of complex electrical and electronic circuits and equipment in support of defense systems.
• Perform complex repairs including replacement of components parts based on troubleshooting results.
• Assemble components in accordance with instructions.
• Fabricate cable assemblies and prototype units and integrate these into larger systems.
• Direct and coordinate the work of other lower-level technicians and personnel to assure maximum efficiencies of group activities in meeting task requirements.
