About The Position

You will handle quality control inspection, electronic functional testing, reprogramming, electronic repair, cleaning, and packing Clover point of sale (POS) equipment. We ensure the reliability of the Clover devices that are vital to our merchant’s daily success in handling financial transactions.

Requirements

  • Availability to work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. shifts
  • 1 year of experience working with electronic devices in a production, manufacturing, refurbishment, or technical environment, or equivalent technical education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment or equivalent technical education
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive, hands‑on tasks
  • Comfort working with electronic devices in a fast‑paced production setting
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with ISO 9001 quality processes.
  • 2+ years of electronics repair, refurbishment, or device processing experience
  • Experience working with POS hardware or similar electronic equipment
  • Familiarity with quality control, screening, or testing processes
  • Ability to follow technical documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Prior experience in production, assembly line, or warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Download, configure and test all units according to set procedures and inspect for cosmetic failures.
  • Download, configure, and test devices according to established procedures and inspect for cosmetic failures
  • Disassemble mechanical, electronic, and plastic components
  • Download appropriate test programs and fully test device functionality
  • Repair electronic equipment by replacing electronic or mechanical components (no soldering required)
  • Reinstall electronic components into electronic subassemblies with correct orientation and placement
  • Fully erase any old program stored in unit, disassemble mechanical, electronic and plastic parts.
  • Download appropriate test program into unit and fully test functionality
  • Repair electronic equipment by replacing electronic or mechanical components (no soldering necessary)
  • Reinstall electronic components into electronic subassemblies with correct orientation and location.; reassemble, clean and test units.
