About The Position

LMR provides industrial support services across the Undersea Weapons Department (Code 30), Test and Evaluation Department (Code 20), Undersea Systems & Sustainment Department (Code 40) and Unmanned and Theater Undersea Warfare Systems Department (Code 50), of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport (NUWCDIVKPT). Requirements include providing technical support services associated with various industrial operations, depot repair activities, and torpedo intermediate maintenance functions. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Electronics Technician Maintenance II (ETM II) fabricates, tests, aligns, troubleshoots, and repairs complex circuit card assemblies, complex electronic assemblies, and electronics systems using approved procedures, drawings, or schematics. Programs, operates, or maintains automated test equipment and complex automated industrial equipment. Collaborates with engineers on project design, prototyping, and production.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must have circuit board component troubleshooting and repair experience to the component level.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing industrial operations support.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • A current, active Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
  • Licensed and certified to operate 6,000-pound electric and diesel forklift and CAT III overhead crane.
  • Ability and experience to operate pallet jack and Big Joe stand-behind pallet lift mechanism.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic cleaning operations associated with heavy carbon composites, greases, and fuels.
  • Operate cleaning machinery associated with electronic cleaning operations.
  • Perform assembly, cleaning, re-assembly, and test operations in accordance with approved Government procedures.
  • Perform typical Depot repairs on various components in accordance with approved Government procedures, shop orders, drawings, and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot components to identify source of failure using procedures, schematics, and drawings.
  • Test, align, and troubleshoot complex analog and digital electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, circuit cards, and power supplies.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on test sets and shop equipment.
  • Perform unscheduled corrective maintenance on test sets and shop equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
