The Electronics Technician - LRS Coiled Tubing position involves promoting safety awareness, maintaining electronic instrumentation, troubleshooting systems, and supporting 24/7 operations on the North Slope, Alaska.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Drivers License required.
  • Must have an Associates degree in a related field or 2 years of vocational training in an electronic technology or related course.
  • Must possess good mathematics and communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs required.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of hydraulics systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness and comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and technical procedures, and regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement culture and initiatives as executed by management.
  • Maintain electronic instrumentation to provide reliable well-maintained equipment to ensure service quality and minimum failures.
  • Develop the skills necessary to perform routine and preventative maintenance of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Perform basic operations using test equipment and industrial controllers required to test and calibrate equipment.
  • Interpret electronic and mechanical drawings with guidance to complete equipment repairs.
  • Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems in shop and in the field.
  • Obtain parts quotes and assist with inventory maintenance and related documentation.
  • Able to work on-call to support 24/7 operations outside of normal working hours.
  • Ability to work rotating schedule on the North Slope, Alaska.
  • Assist with mobile/portable radio repairs and programming.
  • Possess and maintain positive work attitude.
  • Assist with Tech Shop duties and maintain qualifications as needed.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
