Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Electronics Technician II to join them. You will report to the Senior Performance Leader and will have an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in Elma, New York.

  • Work from assembly drawings, manufacturing outlines, worksheets, parts lists, and other instructions, both written and oral.
  • Perform in-process screening using knowledge of basic electricity and electronics and applicable test equipment, such as electronic brakes, power supplies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
  • Follow proper ESD requirements.
  • Establish setups for performance tests for assemblies and subassemblies and systems that include necessary fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
  • Use computers and software such as Excel for spreadsheet formulation and data tabulation.
  • Use a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, height gauges, dial calipers, and indicating micrometers.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as torque wrenches, arbor presses, and hand tools.
  • Work with Project/Product/Quality Engineering to diagnose common test failures and recommend or perform rework to correct discrepancies while maintaining the integrity of the unit.
  • Review build schedule with Assembly Supervisor or Assembly Department Lead, meeting established time standards on work assignments, maintain production schedules, or priorities established by Production Control.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • At least 3 years of related electrical testing experience.
  • Follow strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.).
