Phoenix Defense is currently seeking applicants for Electronic Technician Maintenance I positions supporting the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS) in Louisville, KY.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate computer and networking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to obtain Electronics Technician Certification.
  • Must be a High School Graduate or have a GED.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Training Devices.
  • Perform preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
  • Perform inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines.
  • Capture and record accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into MIS.
  • Apply basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems.
  • May supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lower-level technicians' work.
  • Ensure that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance.
  • This position may require travel to other installations and other W-TRS locations.
