About The Position
The position involves working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with one late shift per week from 10am to 7pm. The primary duties include the repair and calibration of industrial controls, such as industrial grade PCBs, timers, counters, PLCs, drives, monitors, and temperature & process controls. Experience in the servo and/or robotics industry is a plus. Technicians will be responsible for testing the functionality of each unit repaired, ordering parts as necessary, and updating tracking notes in the computer system to reflect the steps taken to repair each unit. The role requires performing repairs down to the component level, utilizing good soldering and troubleshooting skills, and using test equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and function generators to ensure complete and proper repairs. Teamwork and computer literacy are essential for this position.
