About The Position

Join Our Team as an Electronics Project Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment. Location: This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Requirements

Electronics development, manufacturing, or systems engineering experience.
Prior technical project leadership experience.
5+ years professional experience; 3+ years with Masters degree.
While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required.
Post secondary degree in a STEM discipline (preferably Electrical Engineering) from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience in technical hardware project management and tasking.
Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience.
You must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the electronics design/development, manufacturing, and test process for high-reliability applications.
Knowledge of the manufacturing flow for electronics (PWB, CCA).
Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical).
Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.
Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking.
Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

Ensure that projects are completed on cost and schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
