  • Supervise a twelve-person department in the technical operation and maintenance of the AN/FRT-3 VLF radio transmitter system.
  • Schedule work assignments in accordance with established leave schedules and operational analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and administer departmental training programs.
  • Maintain employee attendance records and process leave requests.
  • Prepare performance appraisal ratings and fulfill equal employment and affirmative action goals.
  • Ensure employees have the necessary tools, parts, and materials to perform their duties.
  • Provide the Officer-in-Charge with information regarding operational and maintenance issues.
  • Serve as Communication Officer and supervise the operation of the message center.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • Ability to lead or supervise a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of electronics and use of test equipment.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a technical environment.
