We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next-generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth. Bell is seeking a Mechanic Electronics to support Flight Research Center in Arlington, TX.

Requirements

• Four years of aircraft electronics (avionics) experience within the last 10 years.
• Experience must have involved the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of aircraft communication, navigation or fire control weapons system components.
• Must have and maintain an Airframe & Powerplant License (A&P).
• Successful completion of an 18 to 24 month accredited curriculum in Electronics Engineering or Electronics Technology within the last 10 years or successful completion of a military Electronics/Avionics course at least 8 months in length within the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of duties necessary to ensure the proper functioning of aircraft electrical, electronic, communication, navigation, flight instruments, and instrumentation systems or packages.
• Fabricates, constructs, installs, tests, adjusts, maintains, repairs or replaces any components, panels or sections of the above systems or packages.
• Lays out and installs a variety of tubing and/or tubing systems for instrumentation work.
• May be assigned to install, adjust, and maintain control tower or other fixed base or mobile communications equipment.
• Makes 'in-flight tests' as necessary.
• Must obtain any additional licenses or permits required by the government to meet government regulations.
