Requirements

  • Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent, or one year of manufacturing experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English for reading, writing, understanding, and clear communication.
  • Mathematical Proficiency: Able to calculate proportions, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Certified Forklift Operator in accordance with SCT training.
  • Physical Capability: Able to meet physical demands, including lifting and manual tasks, for a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Punctuality: Regular attendance and punctuality with availability for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems with a special emphasis on the electrical and electronic aspect.
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, focusing on electrical and electronic aspects.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment, program PLCs, and understand schematic diagrams.
  • Operate various test equipment and troubleshoot equipment, including controllers, motors, drives, and sensors.
  • Work with electrical and electronic theories, local and national codes, and equipment application.
  • Maintain detailed job records, including repairs, symptoms, problems, and causes.
  • Collaborate with OEM Technicians for machine issues and maintain ARC Flash safety knowledge.
  • Provide training to others as necessary and support the maintenance department.
  • Follow safety policies and maintain situational awareness for unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • Keep the work environment clean following the 5S system.
