About The Position
SportsMEDIA Technology (SMT) Jacksonville-based Electronics Design and Maintenance (EDM) team supports sporting events all across North America and the world. The scope of this department includes building, repairing and solving technical issues related to electronics used by our operations team and clientele. The Sports Electronics Maintenance Intern is a position that serves to satisfy scholastic "work-exposure" degree requirements while at the same time exposing potential EDM candidates to the SMT Operations Department. As an Intern, you will work in a support role for electronics preparation (with on-site services staff), analyzing, repairing, testing, operating, and maintaining electronic equipment to support all SMT operations. This is an on-site late spring/summer internship in Jacksonville, FL. Pay for this internship is $13.50/hour. Interns will report to our Electronics Manager, Research and Development Engineering.
