The inspector will perform advanced visual inspection, dimensional measurement, depth gauge measurement, and Shore A durometer hardness inspection, ensuring all inspection findings conform to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product definition data. We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Inspector Level II to support inspection activities at supplier locations. This is a part-time role offering flexible scheduling, with opportunities to work 1–3 days per week . Apply for serious consideration!

Requirements

  • Experience with electronic assemblies , including PCBA and/or cable and harness systems
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation
  • Understanding of electronic components and manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Perform source inspections at external supplier facilities for products, components, and processes
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections , including witness inspections of critical features
  • Review and compile inspection reports and documentation packages
  • Verify inspection methods and equipment are appropriate and capable of detecting defects
  • Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Validate inspection plans and confirm proper execution
  • Review and justify any items not inspected at final stage
  • Audit supplier processes to ensure adherence to quality requirements
  • Confirm product cleanliness and absence of foreign object debris (FOD)
  • Verify proper application of assembly requirements per specifications
  • Ensure proper handling, packaging, and preservation of inspected materials
  • Review shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness
