About The Position

The Electronics & Housewares Department Manager at Bi-Mart is responsible for building, promoting, and delivering a high degree of customer service. This position involves daily tasks such as providing prompt and friendly service to customers, handling customer transactions accurately, ensuring sales clerks receive their required breaks, and collaborating with store management to foster teamwork and pride of ownership within the store. Additional responsibilities include inventory replenishment, maintaining clean and well-stocked department fixtures, and training new employees on department responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in retail positions such as cashier, sales associate, bagger, or courtesy clerk.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
  • Capability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to set priorities and organize workload.
  • Talent to efficiently solve problems and offer solutions to customers.
  • Capacity to think strategically and lead.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons.

Responsibilities
