CACI is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician IV to support the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) Program in the Electro-Optics Technology Division at NSWC Crane. Responsibilities: The contractor shall provide non personal services support for the JXQN systems including the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS), Joint Portal Shield (JPS) with the following Line Replacement Units (LRUs): Biological Agent Warning System (BAWS), Identifier Assembly, JBPDS Control Assembly (JCA), Power Pack (PP), Fluid Transfer System (FTS), Collector Assembly, JBPDS LCS Display and LCS Computer. Investigate and analyze systems and component failures and perform corrective actions and calibration on assigned assets. Investigations, analyses, repair actions and calibration/grooming will be performed on system and subsystem equipment for the JBPDS / JPS and associated systems. Failure trends and causative factors shall be recorded and maintained in Depot documentation and this data shall be used to determine the future potential impact to operations and supportability of the systems and subsystems. Perform corrective and repair actions of systems and subsystems for equipment’s associated with the JBPDS / JPS programs. This work shall take place at the Contractor Off-Site Facility. Work with NSWC Crane personnel to accomplish the required tasking in the most efficient and effective manner in order to reduce the maintenance turnaround time and get the assets back to the Fleet. Record SNs of all Lasers replaced during BAWS Depot Repair and return the failed Laser to NSWC Crane for the NSWC Crane Laser Refurbishment Contract. Perform acceptance test on lasers that are being returned per NSWC Crane’s Laser Refurb Contracts.
