Requirements

• Experience with fine pitch surface mount soldering and cable assemblies, required.
• IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001, and IPC‑A‑620 certifications are preferred.
• 3-10 years of experience in an electronics‑related field is preferred.
• Experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and soldering is required.
• Participation in a skills‑based assessment is required as part of the interview process.
• Must be a self‑starter capable of working independently or as part of a cohesive team; candidate should be dynamic, highly motivated, and able to demonstrate strong technical and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Some overtime may be required.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance and ability to maintain the designated security clearance level is required.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training in a related field from an accredited institution is preferred, though not required.
• IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001, and IPC‑A‑620 certifications are preferred.
• 3-10 years of experience in an electronics‑related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled surface‑mount and plated‑through‑hole hand soldering and rework.
• Interpret and work from schematics, diagrams, written or verbal instructions, and defined plans.
• Fabricate cables and breakout boxes in accordance with technical drawings.
• Utilize hand and power tools for the fabrication of breakout boxes.
• Produce high‑quality prototypes based on engineering drawings in a fast‑paced environment.
• Provide electronic testing and debug as required using multimeters, X-ray machine and other test equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Develop and compose procedures for various operational tasks.
