  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electronic assemblies using test equipment and schematics, and perform component-level repairs or replacements to restore functionality.
  • Test firmware for embedded systems ensuring proper operation and integration with hardware components.
  • Contribute to the design, assembly, and upkeep of custom test setups and jigs used for validating electronic products, ensuring reliability and repeatability in testing processes.
  • Analyze electronic schematics and layout files to support troubleshooting and provide feedback on potential enhancements to improve performance, manufacturability, or serviceability.
  • Participate in early-stage product builds by assembling and testing prototypes, identifying issues, and providing feedback to engineering teams to refine designs before full-scale production.
  • Track and manage electronic components, tools, and test equipment, while ensuring accurate documentation of test procedures, results, and configuration changes.
  • Work closely with design and test engineers to evaluate and improve test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficient execution during product development cycles.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to junior team members.
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associates Degree in Electronics or a similar field preferred.
  • 3+ years of general work experience desired.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and layout files.
  • Experience with prototype builds, firmware loading, and test system setup.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, etc).
