Overview The Electronics Engineering Technician II supports design engineering and development activities and uses electronic and mechanical testing equipment. This role involves hands-on prototyping and testing, setting up equipment, keeping records, and performing routine repairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an electrical testing position.
  • Instrumentation experience
  • RF experience
  • High School (High school diploma) or GED
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or certificate in Electrical Engineering a plus

Responsibilities

  • Verify and operate automated test equipment, special test equipment and test cables
  • Testing, troubleshooting and repair of subassemblies and systems
  • Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment
  • Uses Digital Multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as other test and measurement equipment
  • Assemble test fixtures and set up test equipment for product development team
  • Recommend tools, equipment and test fixture needs and support acquisition
  • Perform hands-on prototyping and testing of new and modified designs under direction of Design Engineering personnel.
