About The Position

Electronics Engineer The Opportunity: Develop electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery. Support other engineers to perform tasks when necessary. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members. Apply advanced knowledge to the completion of projects of major complexity. You Have: Experience designing custom electronic circuits, embedded control solutions, and automation tools using micro‑controllers, C++, Unix scripting, and hardware‑integrated programming Experience with high‑voltage operations and safety practices Knowledge of installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Pulsed Forming Networks (PFNs), including high‑voltage power supplies, spark gaps, high- or low-pressure air systems, trigger amplifiers, battery systems, capacitors, diodes, thyristors, inductors, and associated controls Ability to develop new test methodologies, instrumentation strategies, and performance‑measurement techniques for high‑speed and high‑load environments Ability to analyze system performance, evaluate test data, and propose system improvements Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with high voltage power systems, electronic component troubleshooting and repair, and high voltage test and evaluation, Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience with high voltage power systems, electronic component troubleshooting and repair, and high voltage test and evaluation, or 10+ years of experience with high voltage power systems, electronic component troubleshooting and repair, and high voltage test and evaluation in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience with CAD, including AutoCAD or SolidWorks, technical drafting, and design of custom mechanical and electrical assemblies Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Requirements
