Job Title: Electronics Engineer Reporting To: Manager, Electrical Engineering Work Schedule: Onsite – Blacksburg, VA Electronics Engineer Moog Blacksburg, Virginia, United States Moog Space and Defense Group is the operating group with the longest heritage at Moog. Our team in Space and Defense - Power & Data is looking for an Electronics Engineer to join them. You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical field and 1 years of electronics hardware design and development experience. OR Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree and 3 years of electronics hardware design and development experience.
  • Experience designing PCB boards involving microprocessors and data communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with optical systems and design.
  • Control systems analysis and design.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for development of new technology, products, and processes to meet cost, schedule and performance goals.
  • Design electronics hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials.
  • Conduct electronics hardware level integration and test.
  • Support multiple aspects of technical project planning, including designs, proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and technical interface meetings throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements.
  • Develop engineering test requirements and unit/subsystem/system test plans.
  • Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its creative technical reputation.
