About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to join the SPP portfolio and lead the development of the overall electrical architecture for multiple programs. You will be a key stakeholder in defining hardware design, test, and integration of Electrical Power (EPS) and Command & Data Handling (C&DH) subsystems, while mentoring a high performing early career team of electrical engineers. Location: This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. What does this role look like? Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Experience or coursework with electronic circuit design. Support technical reviews and be able to present to internal and external stakeholders. Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of EPS and C&DH hardware. Modeling and prediction of power subsystem bus performance during mission operations. Troubleshooting and anomaly resolution, review and presentation of Product Certification, and support system level testing. Provide mentorship and guidance to early career to mid-career electrical engineers. To be effective in this role, you will need: Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Basic understanding of power supply, and analog and digital circuit design. Previous or current Product Engineer or equivalent experience. Previous or current technical leadership experience. 5+ years of professional experience for this role. Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance , thus you are a US Citizen Why Lockheed Martin? Requirements

Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Basic understanding of power supply, and analog and digital circuit design.
Previous or current Product Engineer or equivalent experience.
Previous or current technical leadership experience.
5+ years of professional experience for this role.
Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance , thus you are a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

Ability to understand electrical circuits, interfaces, and interconnect diagrams.
Experience with Matlab, Python, PSPICE, or SABER desired
Previous or current Certified Product Engineer (CPE) or equivalent responsible product engineer experience.
Technical experience in full life cycle.development of hardware including design, integration, and test.
Led hardware design efforts for Electrical Power (generation, storage, distribution) and/or C&DH subsystems.
Active Top Secret security clearance with Poly.

Responsibilities
