Requirements

  • Possess a Technical degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Design, or equivalent experience that would meet the minimum performance requirements for this position.
  • 3 years minimum experience in working with electronics: PLC, PCB, Firmware, Hardware (in lab, school or workshop environment is ok).
  • Able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts and engineering drawings.
  • Able to use hand tools including but not limited to calipers, strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, drills.
  • Must be experienced in soldering.
  • Willing and able to do research and to continuously learn and improve technical knowledge
  • Must be comfortable working at heights to perform maintenance and repair work on hardware using ladders, scaffolding or other equipment to access elevated work areas following all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen and partake on a quarterly random screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Soldering certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow the assembly instructions soldering and connecting the components according to the specifications.
  • Ensure that the products have the correct firmware version, flash new firmware using the OEM Tool.
  • Follow the commissioning requirements to design the networks and to commission the devices accordingly.
  • Perform quality checks on each step to ensure proper electronic functionalities as well as the correct firmware package and version.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure that the commissioned products comply with customer’s requirements.The goal is to get the products finished, tested, cleaned, bagged, labeled and ready for shipment.
