About The Position

This position involves assessing various commercial, industrial, and home user electronics, including commercial networking appliances, server equipment, industrial computers, and mass-produced retail-grade products. Technicians will be responsible for disassembling electronics and sorting harvested components. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to stand for long periods while working. Technicians will safely use hand tools and basic power tools, break down electronic and computer equipment to remove technological components, and sort raw materials. Additionally, they will palletize finished products for shipping, stage products for loading, and move raw materials to warehouse storage. Quality control of company products is also a key responsibility, along with maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding area, and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required (normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent).
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.
  • Clean background check.
  • Willingness for background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with home computers and experience building/repairing PCs.

Responsibilities
