Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse setting
  • Strong communication skills .
  • Ability to work well in a team environment .
  • Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within constraints while adhering to all company procedures and safety guidelines .
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing responsibilities .
  • Understands sense of urgency and can meet deadlines while adhering to quality standards .
  • Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity and proven proficiency and skill in operating a variety of equipment for use of basic hand tools, tape measures, blueprints, schematics, etc.
  • Basic computer skills for recording assembly data and accessing digital assembly instructions and specifications.
  • Ability to work while standing or being seated for long periods with daily breaks .
  • S ustain repetitive motions , especially with hands to assemble components.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
  • Must be able to crouch, stoop, and kneel periodically .

Responsibilities

  • Function as part of an operations team focused on crimping and assembling of electromechanical devices.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment working independently with minimal instruction after training period.
  • Reading and understanding of schematics and blueprints to assemble components.
  • Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitors product quality and reports on quality issues .
  • Operates various assembly equipment ( i.e. crimping, solder or potting equipment) .
  • Assist in pulling and pack ing or repack ing product based on daily orders .
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking component usage and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Follows good operations practices and work safe practices.
  • Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area .
  • Able to work within constraints according to standard assembly cycle times.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as with reasonable advanced notification.
