Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse setting
Strong communication skills .
Ability to work well in a team environment .
Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within constraints while adhering to all company procedures and safety guidelines .
Ability to multi-task and handle competing responsibilities .
Understands sense of urgency and can meet deadlines while adhering to quality standards .
Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity and proven proficiency and skill in operating a variety of equipment for use of basic hand tools, tape measures, blueprints, schematics, etc.
Basic computer skills for recording assembly data and accessing digital assembly instructions and specifications.
Ability to work while standing or being seated for long periods with daily breaks .
S ustain repetitive motions , especially with hands to assemble components.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
Must be able to crouch, stoop, and kneel periodically .

Responsibilities

Function as part of an operations team focused on crimping and assembling of electromechanical devices.
Work in a fast-paced environment working independently with minimal instruction after training period.
Reading and understanding of schematics and blueprints to assemble components.
Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Monitors product quality and reports on quality issues .
Operates various assembly equipment ( i.e. crimping, solder or potting equipment) .
Assist in pulling and pack ing or repack ing product based on daily orders .
Assist in inventory management by tracking component usage and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Follows good operations practices and work safe practices.
Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area .
Able to work within constraints according to standard assembly cycle times.
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as with reasonable advanced notification.
