JOB SUMMARY Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler 2 to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble and inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) and box-build electronic/electrical assemblies in accordance with IPC Class 2 soldering standards. This hands-on, full-time, on-site position requires consistent attendance and adherence to safety and quality standards. SHIFT Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electronics assembly
  • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 soldering experience required
  • Ability to perform basic data entry tasks
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English

Nice To Haves

  • IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification
  • Familiarity with ESD protocols and cleanroom procedures
  • Previous experience using assembly documentation and process travelers

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components using manual processes, including stuffing, mechanical assembly, hand assembly, and soldering (both lead and lead-free), ensuring all soldering tasks meet IPC Class 2 workmanship standards.
  • Perform visual and functional inspections in alignment with IPC workmanship standards.
  • Conduct testing of completed electronic assemblies.
  • Accurately follow written work instructions, blueprints, and quality procedures.
  • Maintain productivity and quality levels in accordance with established efficiency standards.
  • Collaborate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Actively participate as a positive, dependable, and engaged member of a production team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide input to facilitate troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
