US Navy Submarine Electronic Warfare System (ITE/S) experience is required! We are looking to hire a Submarine Electronic Support (ES) concentrating on ES Software testing. Our close-knit team is passionate about delivering the best product to the Navy to help protect our country. Our team works closely with the Submarine community to develop solutions that allow the Navy to carry out high-stakes national security missions. Test Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Development of test plans and procedures to support Electronic Warfare subsystems integration, verification, and validation within the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) Lead the execution of test events for Electronic Warfare systems in the lab environment, at NUWC, Contractor testing facilities, shipyards and onboard submarines. Linux experience with file structure and basic troubleshooting commands to be used in the building, configuration and integration of new software for TI-24 and TI-26 systems. Understand the Common Computer Environment (CCE) integration for TI-22 and new technical insertions i.e. TI-24 (+) used System of System and SWFTs software environment. Generation, review, and validation of system requirements verification matrices from performance specifications to support test plan and procedure development. Communication skills to support coordination of test events with ranges, platforms, TYCOMs, sponsors, and the test teams. Development of test reports following completion of the test events. Analysis of data output from test events. Development of emitter simulations to model the environment for lab-based testing. Perform Builder analysis in support of test planning and data analysis. Testing and characterization of RF hardware. Secret clearance and SIPR access are required Support the AN/BLQ-10 (Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)s and Performance Verification Test (PVT)s at Lockheed Martin in Syracuse and Manassas. Actively participate in the events and provide daily reports to the T&E team. Review AN/BLQ-10 T&E documentation and provide valuable feedback to ensure testing is done properly and accurately. Ability to travel (domestically) 25% as required usually Monday-Friday to support testing at Lockheed Martin test sites.
