About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electronic Warfare Planner Senior to join our team! In this role you will get to plan, integrate, and synchronizes Electronic Warfare (EW) and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) in support of Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), ensuring spectrum-based capabilities contribute directly to influence, protection, and decision advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 13+ years experience.
  • Years of comparable experience can be used in lieu of degree. (HS diploma 17+ years, Associates 15+ years, Masters 10+ years)
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance or higher
  • An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary advisor to J39 on the employment of EW to enable and reinforce Information Forces and information-related capabilities.
  • Develops and integrates EW/EMSO inputs into OIE planning products, including OPLANs, CONPLANs, and applicable annexes (e.g., Annex K, Annex P), ensuring alignment with commander intent, OIE LOEs, and campaign objectives.
  • Advises J39 leadership on how spectrum control, denial, and protection can shape adversary behavior and support influence operations.
  • Synchronizes EW planning with MISO/PSYOP, Cyber Operations, OPSEC, MILDEC, and Public Affairs coordination, ensuring non-kinetic effects are mutually reinforcing, deconflicted, and timed with broader joint operations.
  • Represents EW equities in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs), Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), and Information Environment Working Groups (IEWGs), integrating spectrum considerations across planning and execution.
  • Coordinates closely with spectrum managers, J6, J2, and J3 staffs to ensure proper targeting, deconfliction, and employment of EW capabilities within operational and policy constraints.
  • Maintains situational awareness of adversary EMS activities and capabilities, including jamming, spoofing, and spectrum exploitation, and assesses implications for friendly operations.
  • Supports assessment of EW effectiveness by defining and tracking Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) aligned with OIE objectives, enabling adaptation, risk management, and informed decision-making throughout execution.
