About The Position

Microchip Technology Inc. is a leading provider of embedded control applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the below functions.

• You must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).

Responsibilities

• Minor de-bugging of continuity failures
• Filling out the test travelers and ESD checklist
• Putting lots on hold and double checking the traveler, confirming if the previous step is completed and filled out; check if the system and the traveler match the step.
• Check the calibration status of the testers/handlers they are using
• Ensure correct count and marking against the traveler
• Provide test summaries for each lots that have completed testing
• Inform and/or contact engineers and maintenance when problem occurs during or while testing
