About The Position

The Electronics Technician is responsible for testing, evaluating, and repairing RF electronic devices and products to ensure they perform satisfactorily. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining records of repairs, and providing technical assistance to various departments while supporting the development of procedures and work instructions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics (ASEE or ASEET) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in electronics manufacturing, service, and/or repair.
  • Experience in RF, Digital, and Analog circuitry.
  • Ability to understand and follow work processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PCBA, Unit and Top-level testing and analysis, troubleshoot and repair products as required to meet performance requirements.
  • Record and maintain troubleshooting and repair information.
  • Determine the most cost-effective level of service/repair (Unit, PCBA, or component level).
  • Provide technical assistance to Production, Service, and Engineering departments as required.
  • Support the development and upkeep of procedures and work instructions.
  • Identify and document opportunities to improve designs/processes for Manufacturing, Service, and Sales (DFM/DFX).
  • Calibrate and maintain test stations and equipment to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Perform duties with little or no supervision; other duties as assigned to support Operational needs.
