Our facility in Buckhannon, WV has the opportunity for a skilled Electronic Technician with a thorough comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment, processes and techniques to safely repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment, to join our Team. Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in E.E.T. or equivalent education and experience in Industrial Electrical work.
  • Stable employment history with a minimum of five (5) years experience in Industrial Electrical work with no higher education.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in PLC control systems.
  • Good working knowledge of: Computer hardware and software including general networking N.E.C. and NFPA70E AC & DC drives
  • Ability to troubleshoot using blueprints, schematics, computers and appropriate test equipment.
  • Previous experience and ability to troubleshoot: Allen Bradley PLC 5/40 and SLC 500 programming AB Control Logix programming Rockwell programming software and/or Wonderware
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, to include weekends and holidays as operating conditions require
  • Willing to be on call
  • A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations
  • Commitment to follow all unit electrical / maintenance practices
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment examination.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman Electrician or greater certification
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise experience
  • Instrumentation experience such as load cells, thermocouples, RTD’s, etc.
