About The Position
The Electronic Technician Maintenance III (FIT) role involves leading simulation maintenance activities for the Threat-Integrated Air Defense Systems (T-IADS) at Fort Irwin, California. This position requires performing scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on various simulation equipment, including the Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) and Longbow Apache Tactical Engagement System (LBA-TESS). The technician will be responsible for installing and de-installing equipment, ensuring maintenance tasks align with training schedules, and recording all maintenance activities in real-time. The role also includes monitoring hardware baselines, analyzing maintenance trends, and managing configuration for simulation devices. The technician may serve as a lead onsite and must be able to travel both domestically and internationally to support training events and maintenance activities.
