Core Responsibilities Tactical Operations & Mission Support EW Threat Replication: Provide pilots and aircrews with representative EW threat pictures, including Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) indications. Tactical Instruction: Brief Mission Commanders and Flight Leaders on threat comprehension, tactical game plan adjustments, threat avoidance, and Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD). Scenario Planning: Coordinate directly with NATO Officers to develop and adjust war game scenarios. Analyze military mission requirements to ensure simulation exercises align with US Military Training Doctrine. Dynamic Execution: Factor in evolving Air Defense threats within a dynamic battlefield environment to challenge aircrew decision-making. Technical Maintenance & Systems Engineering Full-Spectrum Maintenance: Perform daily troubleshooting, fault detection, isolation, and repair of EW TTAO systems and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). System Integration: Install, modify, and maintain diverse electronic equipment, including RADAR, video, fire control, remote control lasers, gun cameras, microwave RF, and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems. Sustainment: Conduct direct support-level maintenance on system elements and ensure the mission readiness of the entire team’s equipment suite. Logistics, Deployment & Heavy Equipment Heavy Transport: Supervise the load-out and transport of EW Threat Simulators. Rigging & Recovery: Expertly utilize cranes, chains, and stationary winches for secure transport and site placement. Fleet Management: Maintain and service a fleet of heavy and light military vehicles, as well as power generation equipment. Material Handling: Operate forklifts and telescopic loaders to load containers and support equipment for rapid OCONUS deployments.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in conducting EW operations with multiple Air Defense systems in a multinational/NATO environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of RF, microwave, and RADAR systems; ability to perform component-level troubleshooting.
  • Must be proficient in operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and heavy military transport vehicles.
  • Highly proficient in navigating European training areas and working within the multi-functional framework of NATO exercises.
  • Strong understanding of US Military Training Doctrine.
  • Ability to work in austere outdoor environments during training exercises.
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting and manual labor associated with equipment rigging and vehicle maintenance.
  • Willingness to deploy for extended periods.
  • Previous Army TADSS experience.
  • Knowledge of military vehicles and MILES instrumentation.
  • Able to climb ladders and on military vehicles to instrument with Army TADSS.
  • Secret Clearance
