About The Position

Provides support of Intermediate level (I-Level and Depot Level) repair support for the ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS) in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements. Mid-level Electronics Technician supporting repair, maintenance, modification, and overhaul of ALQ-99 at Fleet Readiness Center Northwest (FRCNW).

Requirements

  • 5+ years avionics/electronics maintenance experience required
  • 3+ years ALQ-99 or similar aviation maintenance experience
  • Must be able to work, day, swing or mid shift as required
  • Secret clearance required

Nice To Haves

  • Aviation Survivability Equipment (ASE) experience preferred
  • 2M (Micro/Miniature) experience preferred
  • CDI preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification
  • Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems
  • Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians
  • Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Intermediate Level (I-Level) and Depot Level (D-Level) ALQ-99 TJS Repair
  • ALQ-99 TJS WRA and SRA inspections
  • General ALQ-99 TJS WRA and SRA maintenance
  • Technical Directive compliance and modifications
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and directives
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics systems
  • Document maintenance actions per NAMP requirements
